Institutional Mission to Japan with ITA/ICE

The participation in the mission organised by ITA/ICE between Tokyo and Osaka represented an important opportunity for growth and international expansion for the Il Buon Gusto Italiano Network. Presenting as a cohesive group proved to be a decisive added value, generating strong interest among local buyers, distributors, and importers.

The initiative included B2B meetings, tasting sessions, and insight activities promoted in collaboration with ACCI – Associazione Cuochi Cucina Italiana, aimed at analysing trends within Japan’s ho.re.ca. channel. The programme also featured visits to newly redeveloped multifunctional complexes designed for the 2020 Olympics, as well as institutional meetings with Carlo Maria Ferro, President of ITA/ICE, and Giorgio Starace, the Italian Ambassador to Japan, both of whom expressed full support for developing new channels of collaboration between Italy and Japan.

Un’esperienza ricca e significativa, che ha permesso di approfondire la conoscenza del mercato giapponese. A rich and meaningful experience, the mission provided valuable insights into the Japanese market. Participating in the initiative alongside Network Manager Giancarlo Taglia were the companies Pasticceria Fraccaro, Pastificio Avesani, Santangiolina, Mengazzoli, Musetti, Caseificio Longo, Biscotteria Veneziana, and Panificio Dalla Val.
