Riso Invernizzi has a history spanning more than a century, with origins dating back to 1890, when the Invernizzi family began its first activities in rice cultivation in the Novara area. Over the generations, the company has strengthened its role in the selection and processing of rice, maintaining a strong connection to Italian agricultural tradition and a continuous commitment to quality. Today, the fifth generation of the family leads the business, combining historical expertise with technological advancement.
Quality is ensured through the adoption of innovative technologies that support high production standards and improve product safety and traceability. The company markets all the main varieties of Italian rice, complemented by a selection of ethnic rice and a range of organic and sustainable products. Packaging solutions include sacks, big bags, vacuum-packed cartons and ATP formats, ranging from industrial sizes to 0.5 kg retail packs.
Since 2008, Riso Invernizzi has operated a second facility dedicated to producing rice and mixed-grain crackers and rice cakes, many of which are organic, sustainable and specifically formulated for coeliacs. In 2014, the company became one of the largest Italian players in the processing of white rice, supplying prestigious private label brands in large-scale retail as well as numerous B2B partners.
