Il Buon Gusto Italiano at the University of Padua

Il Buon Gusto Italiano returned to the University of Padua for a new training session dedicated to the students of the Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics for Economics and Business (SEI). The initiative is part of the ongoing collaboration between the Network and the University, aimed at bringing students closer to the business world and to the real dynamics of the Italian agri-food sector.

During the lecture, Giancarlo Taglia, Managing Director of the Network, presented the network contract, illustrating how this tool addresses some of the key challenges of the Italian entrepreneurial landscape — from supply-chain fragmentation to the need for integrated skills — and outlining the benefits of the collaborative model: operational synergies, joint market access, resource optimisation, and enhanced competitiveness. He also introduced Il Buon Gusto Italiano and its member companies, highlighting how the network structure enables diverse producers to work together in a shared path of growth and promotion of Italy’s agri-food heritage.

The initiative reaffirms the Network’s commitment to fostering a business culture rooted in training, innovation, and the enhancement of young talent.

A special thank-you goes to the University of Padua, Professor Giuseppe Danese, and the SEI students for their attention and participation, underscoring the importance of continuous dialogue between academia and the production sector.
